Iana Dreyer, Founder 

Iana is the founder and Brussels and London editor of Before founding her publishing activity, Iana worked in think tanks, writing on trade and energy policy in Brussels and Paris. She has worked for the European Centre for International Political Economy, the Institute Montaigne and the EU Institute for Security Studies. Iana has also worked for the Financial Times group and has trained in journalism. Iana is a graduate from the School London School of Economics and Sciences Po in Paris. Iana currently commutes between London and Brussels.


Jennifer Freedman, Managing Editor

Jennifer Freedman is Borderlex’s managing editor. Jennifer is a veteran journalist with more than 30 years of experience as a reporter and editor in Europe, the US and the Middle East. Before moving to Borderlex in November 2017, she worked for more than four years as MLex’s senior trade correspondent in Geneva and almost 15 years as an editor and reporter at Bloomberg, covering trade, politics and human rights from Brussels and then Geneva. At Borderlex, Jennifer helps mastermind the editorial process, runs the website and covers World Trade Organization and other trade policy issues from Geneva.
