- EU-Canada signing ceremony of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) is expected in late October, following the green light given by the Belgian politicians on 27 October.
- On 2 November, the 21st negotiating round on the Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA) will kick start in Geneva.
- On 2 November, a group of MEPs from the European Parliament’s Trade Committee will embark on a two-day mission to Buenos Aires in Argentina.
- On 11 November the trade ministers from 28 member states will meet at the Trade Council to hammer out a deal on the reform of the EU’s trade defence instruments. They will also take stock of progress in WTO Post-Nairobi talks and EU’s FTA negotiations with the US, Japan and Mercosur.
